West Indies vs India 2019: 3rd ODI – Toss Report
With 1-0 down in the series, West Indies will look to put up an improved effort and draw level in the three-match series when they play India in the third and the final ODI at the Port of Spain in Trinidad. The Men in Blues, on the other hand, will hope to clinch another series win on Wednesday.
India have so far looked clinical in their approach and will hope to finish the limited-overs on a winning note. The matured knock of Shreyas Iyer will be a massive bonus for Virat Kohli & Co as the former will aim to show more consistency to cement his spot. The management will ponder with Rishabh Pant as his tenacity of getting out playing rash shots is hurting India’s batting. The young wicket-keeper batsman has his task cut out if he hopes to fill in the big shoes of MS Dhoni.

On the other hand, West Indies have struggled due to their poor outing with the bat. They repeated the same mistakes they did in the World Cup as they allowed their opponents to come back into the game after being in a position of strength. Jason Holder & Co will have to stand up and deliver goods if they want to avoid a slip-up in the ICC ODI Rankings. However, the hosts have done well with the ball but have lacked support from their batting unit and will hope that the batters stand up to their tasks.
Date and Venue: West Indies vs India, August 14 (Wednesday), at the Port of Spain in Trinidad, 7:00 PM IST

Here is what the captains said,
Not a bad thing at all, the toss is not in your control mostly. It’s an opportunity to come out here and execute our skill-sets. We spoke about in the last game, how after a drinks break, we lost our way. One change. Chahal comes in for Kuldeep Yadav.
We are going to bat first. Seems like a good wicket and opportunity to put some runs on the board. We need to focus on things we can control. We’ve done a lot of talk, it’s time for execution. We need to learn and take responsibility. We got to play as a team. We’ve got two changes. Sheldon Cotrell is out and Keemo Paul replaces him. We’ve left out Oshane Thomas and brought in Fabien Allen.
