Indiana National Cricket Team players Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul found themselves in the mix of controversy following their appearance on a talk show named Koffee With Karan. In the wake of the misogynistic comments, BCCI had suspended them for a brief period. Meanwhile, they have come out of the suspension, and head coach Ravi Shastri admitted that he had the belief that Pandya and Rahul will be back with a bang.
After the fiasco, Hardik Pandya had put an apology, but BCCI decided to take stern actions and asked them to return to the country from Australia tour. In created massive stir in the country with the apex body thinking about organising classes to groom cricketers. Later in the New Zealand tour, Hardik played three T20 matches before sustaining an injury.

Pandya and Rahul have come back stronger: Shastri
Both Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul made a strong comeback in the recently concluded Indian Premier League 2019. For Mumbai Indians, Pandya played a few match-winning knocks contributing to their success with both bat and ball. He also struck the fastest fifty of the season off 17 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders. On the other hand, KL Rahul finished as the second highest run-scorer after David Warner. Both of them will go to the World Cup oozing with confidence and look to keep up the excellent work.
Ravi Shastri, who has witnessed Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul grow from close quarters, admitted that he had the belief that both of them will bounce back strong. He also said that young cricketers learn from mistakes, and this chaos has made them tougher and stronger.
“See, you learn from your mistakes, you learn from adversities. And I said at that time, they’ll come back tougher, stronger and wiser and I can see that with the both of them,” Shastri said.
Meanwhile, both Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul will be crucial to India’s success when the marquee event begins from May 30. India will play two practice games before they start their campaign against South Africa on June 5.
