SAN JOSE, Calif. — The San Jose Sharks have re-signed ahead Marcus Sorensen to a two-year contract extension.

The deal, which was finalized Monday, retains Sorensen below contract via the 2020-21 season.

The 26-year-old Sorensen is in his third season with the Sharks. He has profession highs with eight objectives, seven assists and 47 video games performed.

Sorensen initially signed with San Jose in Might 2016 after enjoying professionally in Sweden. He performed 41 video games within the NHL his first two years with six objectives and 5 assists.
