Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman had arthroscopic surgery on his proper elbow Friday and is expected to be ready by Opening Day, the group mentioned in a press release.

Normal supervisor Jeff Luhnow mentioned the process was to take away free our bodies in Bregman’s elbow. The All-Star Sport MVP will be restricted throughout spring coaching.

Bregman, 24, hit .286 final season with 31 residence runs, 103 RBIs, 105 runs, 96 walks, 51 doubles and a .926 OPS — all profession highs.
