SAN ANTONIO — With the schedule intensifying, Spurs ahead Rudy Gay is not going to play Monday and will miss further time due to a sprained left wrist, coach Gregg Popovich stated.
Popovich stated Gay, who was injured in Saturday’s win over the LA Clippers, wouldn’t play Monday in opposition to the Boston Celtics. He didn’t present a timetable for his potential return.
“I do not know,” Popovich stated when requested when Gay is perhaps again within the lineup. “I simply know he is not there tonight. Proper now, that is all that issues.”
