NEW YORK — The New York Rangers say defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk will likely be sidelined two to 4 weeks with a shoulder injury.

Shattenkirk left within the second interval of Monday evening’s sport in Tampa. He took a verify across the left shoulder and had a sling on his arm postgame.

The 29-year-old was checked out on Tuesday. Basic supervisor Jeff Gorton introduced Wednesday that Shattenkirk had a separated shoulder.

Shattenkirk has one purpose, seven assists and nil penalty minutes in 29 video games this season. He suffered a knee injury final January that ended his season.
